Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Auth), hosted in the United States. Firebase is ISO 27001 certified and compliant with GDPR data processing requirements. Data in transit is encrypted using TLS.
Board content is retained as long as your account is active. You may contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at the address below.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TackIT ("we", "us", "our"), the real-time collaborative whiteboard available at tackit.ai. By using TackIT, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
TackIT is a web-based tool for hosting and participating in collaborative whiteboard sessions. You may use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must be at least 16 years of age to create a host account.
To host boards, you must register for an account. You are responsible for:

You retain ownership of any content you create within TackIT boards (notes, labels, votes). By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You are solely responsible for the content of your boards. You must not use TackIT to store or share content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringes any third-party rights.
You agree not to:
TackIT and all related software, design, logos, and trademarks are the exclusive property of TackIT and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our intellectual property to you.
TackIT offers Free, Pro, and Enterprise plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Downgrading your plan may result in the loss of features or data associated with the higher tier.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you breach these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may retain your data for a period required by law or for legitimate business purposes before deletion.
TackIT is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TackIT and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
